Life Coaching via Skype
My Life Coaching service is designed to help you achieve your goals and cultivate wellbeing in all areas of your life. As a Doctor of Psychology and a Registered Counsellor, as well as a Life Coach, I draw on over 10 years of training to provide you with the highest quality of service available. Whether you want help clarifying and achieving your goals, want to maximise your overall self-development and quality of life, or if you're simply feeling stuck, I can help.

I can help you:
Achieve your Goals. I’ll help you to clarify exactly what you want your life to be like. I’ll help you set meaningful goals that move you closer to your ideal future. I’ll work with you to create effective strategies to achieve your goals that save you time, money and stress. I’ll help you stay focused and motivated in each session, and I’ll help you to learn and adapt when challenges arise.
Overcome Blockages. If you’re struggling with low motivation, self-esteem or confidence, I’ll help you develop more empowering ways of thinking. If something is holding you back, I’ll help you to find a solution and take action. As a Doctor of Psychology and a Registered Counsellor, as well as a Life Coach, I have the training to help you identify, understand and overcome your blockages.
Improve your Overall Health and Wellbeing. I’ll work with you to create new habits that support your mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. I can help you to develop more authentic connections with others and improve your relationships. I’ll help you get in touch with your values, so that you can experience greater meaning and purpose. I’ll also help you make time for fun and relaxation, so that you can enjoy your life!
What to Expect
I recommend starting with six sessions. In the first session, we'll do an assessment of how fulfilled you are in all the major areas of your life. This includes your mental and physical health, your career, your finances, your living situation, your relationships, and your sense of meaning and purpose. We’ll then use this to create clearly defined goals for us to work towards. In each 50-minute Skype session, I’ll help you to stay focussed, deepen your learning, and decide on action-steps to take before the next session to achieve your goals and improve your wellbeing. In the sixth session, we'll do a full review of our work together, and decide what to do next.
Life Coaching or Counselling?
Life Coaching focusses on moving from the present into an ideal future. It involves ongoing support to achieve valued goals, maximise your overall wellbeing, and provide support for ongoing self-development. In contrast, most people seek Counselling when they are struggling or need mental health support. I can provide a dedicated Counselling service on request. If you're seeking counselling, simply mention this in your message when you book an initial free introductory session below.

I’ve gained international recognition for my scientific research on Lucid Dreaming, Meditation, and Connectedness to Humanity. I have extensive teaching experience, and I’ve worked with people in a wide range of contexts. This includes my Life Coaching and Counselling work, lecturing and tutoring psychology courses at the University of Adelaide, my workshops and other public events, and my time volunteering as a Telephone Crisis Counsellor with Lifeline Australia.
An International Service
I provide my services to people all over the world via Skype. You can receive support from the comfort and privacy of your own home, as well as when you’re travelling; all you need is a reliable high-quality internet connection. Studies have shown that this approach is just as effective as face-to-face consultations for most issues. However, web-based services are not appropriate in cases of severe psychiatric illness, trauma, or for people at risk of suicide. If this applies to you, please seek appropriate support through your GP.
Sessions and Fees
The first step is to book a free introductory session, where we can discuss working together and address any questions you may have. There is no obligation to book further sessions. If we do decide to work together, I recommend regular weekly or fortnightly sessions for maximum benefit. I charge USD$150 per 50-minute Skype video chat session. If you do not already have Skype, you can easily download it for free here. I offer a 10% discount when you pay for 6 or more sessions in advance. I accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal and Bitcoin. Please note that you must be 18+ and proficient in English.
